Natalie Sayer Always smiling Instructor and Child Protection Officer |
CHRIS SAYER - Kayak Instructor Chris combines a busy life in the town band with his paddling. |
ANDREW KIMBER - I paddled and coached for a couple of decades or more whilst based in Essex. Now I’ve finally managed to escape to a proper county, and am so glad to have found a bunch of like minded paddlers, and be able to continue “ messing about in boats” be it river, creek or sea. |
ROLAND BEWICK - Kayak Instructor / Training Officer "I am a late starter, first got into a canoe in 1992, thanks to Nigel & Helen, and gradually got bitten by the paddling bug. Now a level 3 coach. I enjoy long journeys, surfing, white water, taster sessions and the look on peoples faces the first time they roll."As training officer Roland makes sure we have a busy and suitable training programme for our young paddlers and instructors. |
NIGEL EMMERSON - Kayak Instructor and Secretary I started paddling in Wells Quay at the age of 12 in a wooden frame double kayak with Bob Smith who is now harbour master at Wells and have never stopped enjoying the sport. I really enjoy the variety of paddling we do in the club. My favourite places to paddle are in the creakes at Wells and Burnham Overy. I also sail, mostly at Wells in my Laser and our Hartley 12. |
HELEN EMMERSON - Memerships Secretary I started paddling at College and met my husband (Nigel) at a canoeing weekend in Kings Lynn. I have had spells as secretary, membership secretary and usually end up as catering manager when required. |
PAUL NICHOLLS - Committee member Paul own description - - I like to think, my role as, volunteer helper, and crash test dummy (haha) I also make a great cup of tea. |
John Leversedge—Instructor I discovered kayaking and canoeing, and the great bunch of paddlers at Ospreys, regrettably late in life. Doing my best to make up for lost time. I love the opportunity to coach novices of any age. My favourite Norfolk paddle is on the coast at Morston. |
