Play Boating If you've ever tried to do a trick in your kayak then you've already taken the first step towards becoming a play boater. The term 'playboating' describes the act of using a river's natural features such as waves, eddy lines and holes, to perform tricks. It's all about trying to get your boat to surf, spin, bounce and cartwheel, while you get wet and have as much fun as possible with your mates. |

PADDLEPOWER PASSPORT Paddlepower Passport comprises four progressive levels that guide the new paddler from the initial “Start” session through twenty four competencies, skills and knowledge. These encourage each paddler to achieve a recognisable standard. Adults would achieve a similar standard via the “One Star” criteria. A coaching programme of approximately eight hours would be appropriate for most participants. |

PADDLEPOWER DISCOVER Paddlepower Discover comprises four more progressive levels for the young paddler to focus their attention on particular areas of knowledge.
